OUR vessels

When completing your maritime training with Gold Coast Boat and Jet Ski Licensing, you can be guaranteed the use of quality facilities and training vessels. Our training rooms in Coomera, Broadbeach and Tallebudgera are all air conditioned and suitable for a range of group sizes. Our late model training vessels are perfectly suited for conducting the practical components of the course and all in current commercial registration.

Coomera Training room

Our main training room is located at office #50 Gold Coast City Marina, 76-84 Waterway Dr, Coomera. The room is airconditioned and with easy access to waterways of the Coomera River. A range of other facilities are located on site including restaurant and canteen, chandlery and a range of boating trades.

 

"class time" 6.5m rib

Class Time is a 6.5m Rigid Inflatable Boat(RIB) fitted with an Evinrude E-tec 150Hp outboard engine. In 2C commercial registration for 9 persons, class time is perfectly suited for conducting practical training throughout SE QLD.

 

Seadoo Gti

The 2012 Seadoo Gti is a powered by a 130Hp rotax engine and in 2D commercial registration for 3 persons. The Gti is safe and reliable with the lastest technolgy including intelligent brake and reverse (iBR).

 

 

"Bee Jay" 4.5m Aluminium

Bee Jay is a 4.5m aluminium side console fitted with a 60Hp Evinrude E-tec. In 2D commercial registration for 5 persons, Bee Jay is typical of many vessels owned on the Gold Coast and is has been purposley setup for licence training.

 

course costs and duration

The boat licence course runs from 8am till 3pm with a cost of $150. This cost includes all equipment and course materials. If combined with the PWC licence the course runs from 8am till 5pm with a cost of $250.

Practical training is conducted in purpose built vessels including "Class Time", a 6.5m rigid inflatable in 2C survey for 9 persons powered by a 150Hp Evinrude E-Tec. PWC training is provided on the lastest Seadoo Gti featuring iBR and ITC. All of our vessels are in current commercial registration and comply with NSCV standards.
